The Collingwood Blues Jr A Hockey Club are pleased to announce Daniel Markevych has signed his OJHL Player Agreement to join the Blues for the 2023/24 season.Markevych born in 2005, 18, comes off his most recent season suiting up for the Cushing Academy of the USHS Prep league where he had 11 goals & 11 assists for 22 points in 31 games played.

Markevych, a Mississauga native is expected to be a big part of the Blues in Collingwood. Daniel had several teams courting him for 2023/24, but his signing in Collingwood shows how committed the organization is to bringing in top talent to compete in the OJHL. Daniel is a left shot Centerman measuring 5 foot 10 inches tall tipping the scales at 187 pounds.
